Leadership Sand Springs, now in its 17th year, is a look behind the curtain. The nine classes, consists of seminars and presentations by community representatives, takes students through the history, present and future of their community.
The curriculum of Leadership Sand Springs provides in-depth and exclusive incite to the workings of the city government, services, and leaders.
The classes provide excellent networking opportunities to meet the leaders of the community, to meet the faces behind the city, as well as business men and women.
Upon graduating, the Leadership Sand Springs class spends a day in the Oklahoma State Capitol, lunching with the state legislators and meeting those behind the state governance.
Sand Springs Leadership class is an innovative, first-hand approach to creating a unified community whole, with all parts - government, private, commercial - working together.
